Auburn Police are looking for a woman of interest in the fatal shooting March 31 of a man at a boat repair shot.

Police said in a Facebook post Monday that detectives identified the woman as 31-year-old Tristan Thomas. Police released a photo of the woman and are asking that anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact the Auburn Police tip line at 253-288-7403. Reference case number 20-03567.

Police did not specify what connected Thomas to the shooting.

A man in his 50s died after he was shot during a reported robbery attempt at a boat repair shop in the 3500 block of C Street Northeast in Auburn.

Another man in his 50s was injured after he was assaulted with a gun. A truck pulled up outside the shop at about 9:40 p.m. A man entered the shop and demanded money. He then shot one man, who died at the scene, and assaulted the second man, according to police.

Police have not made any arrests in the case.
