Pedestrian dies in Kent hit-and-run along SR 516 near I-5

The Washington State Patrol are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run fatality early Tuesday morning, Nov. 29 along State Route 516 in Kent near Interstate 5.
State Patrol also are seeking anyone with information about a vehicle with fresh damage to the hood or windshield.
Troopers responded at about 2:30 a.m. to a 911 call reporting a pedestrian lying in the roadway along westbound SR 516 to northbound I-5, according to the State Patrol. Troopers immediately began CPR but a 37-year-old SeaTac man was pronounced dead when the medics arrived.
The man showed signs of being struck by an unknown vehicle, according to the State Patrol. The vehicle likely would have sustained hood and windshield damage.
