Kent closes Lake Meridian boat launch due to high water levels

The city of Kent closed the boat launch on Friday at Lake Meridian Park until further notice because of high water levels from heavy rainfall.

City officials didn’t give an estimate about when the boat launch might reopen. The lake features a public boat launch on the east end.
