Park Orchard Elementary celebrates diversity

Kent’s Park Orchard Elementary School hosted multicultural night on June 2.

The program highlighted the school’s diversity by inviting students and their families to bring a dessert native to their culture.

The school is home to more than 250 refugees and English Language Learners, and students speak more than 30 different languages.
