Meridian Kent Kiwanis Club to throw Seahawks tailgate party on Oct. 22

The Meridian Kent Kiwanis Club will host a tailgate party for the Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers game on Thursday, Oct. 22 at Down Home Catering, 211 First Ave. S.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the free event. Kickoff is at 5:25 p.m. for the televised game. Food, drinks and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program, The Eliminate Project and Key Club.
