A brush fire breaks out early Thursday afternoon along I-5 near South 216th Street

Sparks from a trailer that lost a wheel reportedly started a brush fire along Interstate 5 near South 216th Street, according to the Kent Fire Department Regional Fire Authority.

The fire broke out early Thursday afternoon and blocked two northbound lanes. Fire crews from the Port of Seattle and South King Fire and Rescue assisted Kent in fighting the blaze.
