Kent Police chief to speak at Business Block Watch event

Kent Police Chief Ken Thomas will speak and answer questions at the Kent Downtown Partnership’s annual Business Block Watch meeting from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Down Home Catering, 211 First Ave. S.

Thomas will share crime statistics and along with his staff give ideas about how business owners can better protect themselves during the winter months.
