Conks prevail, await Woodinville in playoff | SPSL football

Chevy Kalua-Fuimaono scored on a 5-yard run and Devonte Sanchez returned a fumble 30 yards for another touchdown, leading Kentwood past Todd Beamer, 14-0, in a South Puget Sound League 4A crossover football game Friday night at French Field.

The Conquerors (7-2), SPSL Northeast Division champions, host Woodinville (5-4) in a district playoff game at 7 p.m. this Friday.

Elsewhere

At Jefferson 36, Kentlake 14: Kenny Turner scored four TDs, including three in a 27-point fourth quarter, as the Raiders pulled away from the Falcons in an SPSL crossover game in Federal Way on Friday.

Cody Faulkner ran for one TD and threw for another for Kentlake (4-5).

The Falcons will play either Battle Ground, Skyview or Mountain View in a district playoff game next weekend.

Kent-Meridian 70, at Decatur 38: The Royals (5-4) routed the Gators (0-9) in an SPSL crossover game Thursday in Federal Way.

Kent-Meridian travels to Rogers of Puyallp (2-7) in a season finale this Friday, November 6. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-7.

Kentridge 29, at Mount Rainier 8: JaQuanDuBose ran for 75yards and two TDs, leading the Chargers past the Rams in an SPSL crossover game at Des Moines.

Ajay Bhat caught a 24-yard touchdown pass for Kentridge.

Jordan Omatsu ran for 54 yards and Solomon Hines rushed for 50 for the Chargers, who compiled 206 yards in the ground for the game.

The Chargers (3-6) host Emerald Ridge (3-6) in a season finale this Thursday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at French Field.
