Kent closes 148th Avenue SE; SE 256th Street due to flooding

Kent city officials have closed 148th Avenue Southeast between Southeast 256th Street and Southeast 249th Street on Tuesday afternoon because of water over the roadway.

Drivers used 148th Avenue Southeast as a north-south commute route on the East Hill out near the Kent-Covington city border.

The city also has closed Southeast 256th Street between 132nd Avenue Southeast and 156th Avenue Southeast due to water over the roadway.
