Kent School District presents Beyond High School resource event Oct. 30

The Kent School District presents Beyond High School, a career readiness and college preparedness resource event, on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Kent-Meridian High School, 10020 SE 256th St.

Representatives from two- and four-year in-state and out-of-state colleges, technical schools, military, apprenticeship programs and local employers will be available to meet with attendees.

More than 60 college and universities and more than 20 community partners will be presents.

Breakout sessions begin at 7 p.m. and will include: FAFSA/WASFA college financial assistance; University of Washington and Green River College presentations; and apprenticeship programs.
