Bloomberg presidential campaign opens downtown Kent office

Staff of Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg opened a campaign office Sunday in downtown Kent.

The campaign’s newest office will serve as home base for organizing operations in South King and North Pierce counties, according to a Bloomberg media release. The campaign has seven offices in the state.

The Presidential Primary in Washington is March 10. King County Elections mailed ballots last week.

State Sen. Lisa Wellman, D-Mercer Island, Washington for Mike co-chair, rallied volunteers, staff and supporters at the Kent office, 224 W. Meeker St.
