Kent recycling event set for Oct. 10

Clear the clutter this fall and drop off items at the city of Kent Residential Recycling Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Hogan Park at Russell Road, 24400 Russell Road.

Bring those hard to recycle at the curb items including appliances, toilets and sinks, tires and motor oil, Styrofoam and up to three file-sized boxes of documents to shred.

Composters and worm bins will be on sale for $25 each from 9 a.m. until noon or until supplies run out. For more information, visit KentRecycles.com.
