Kent approves 30-home subdivision on East Hill

A proposal in Kent to build 30 single-family homes in the 24400 block of 98th Avenue South has been approved by the city hearing examiner.
Harbour Homes, LLC, plans to subdivide three parcels on the East Hill totaling 4.2 acres into 30 single-family residential lots, according to city documents. The development is known as the Bandon East subdivision.
The property has a single-family home and an outbuilding, both of which will be removed. The property is zoned SR-8 (eight homes per acre) for single family residential.
Hearing Examiner Lee Raaen approved the development with conditions in an April 11 report to the city after holding a public hearing April 2 at City Hall.
