Kent-Meridian Barbecue organizers seek help from Kent merchants

Organizers for the Kent-Meridian High School Community Barbecue are inviting local businesses to be a part of their Aug. 27 event.

Organizers for the Kent-Meridian High School Community Barbecue are inviting local businesses to be a part of their Aug. 27 event.

They are seeking coupons for meals or merchandise, to be used for a raffle at the event, as well as participation with booths and business banners, for businesses to promote themselves. At the very least, they’re inviting business owners out for a free meal, to connect with some of the 1,900 K-M students and families who live and shop in Kent.

The barbecue runs 3-5:30 p.m.

To learn more about participating, contact Debbie Thiesen at Kent-Meridian High School at debbie.theisen@kent.k12.wa.us.
