Sonntag to speak at Kent chamber lunch

Washington State Auditor Brian Sonntag will be the guest speaker Sept. 1 at the monthly membership luncheon of the Kent Chamber of Commerce. The event starts 11:30 a.m. at the Meridian Valley Country Club, 24830 136th Ave. S.E.

Now in his fifth term as auditor (he was first elected in 1992), Sonntag has a long resume of public service, beginning with his election as Pierce County Clerk when he was 26.
