52nd annual Kent Cornucopia Days set for downtown July 11-13

Street festival, 5K Fun Run, parade among featured events

The 52nd annual Kent Cornucopia Days street festival fills downtown from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13.

Cornucopia Days features a huge street fair, a food court, a parade, a car show, music, a 5K Fun Run-Walk and more. The event is presented by the Kent Lions Club and sponsored by Amazon.

Vendors from across the region will be selling handmade jewelry, yard art, homemade sauces, 12th-man themed accessories and more.

Street fair hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. Several downtown streets are closed for the free festival.

Three Friends Fishing Hole

Day of race registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Fee is $20. Participants ages 60 and older can enter for free courtesy of Long Painting

Maple Valley Street Rats Car Club

8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12

Sixth Avenue and West Meeker Street

Grand Parade

1 p.m. Sunday, July 13

Fourth Avenue from Willis Street to James Street

Bands, dance and rhythm teams, Seafair pirates and clowns, elected officials
