The Cody Jinks Hippies & Cowboys Tour will roll into Kent Thursday, July 17 at the accesso ShoWare Center.

Jinks announced his 23-stop national tour Dec. 4 alongside his upcoming project, “Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell,” a tribute album to the late honky-tonk legend. The album includes covers of many fan-favorite tracks including, “If You’ve Got The Money I’ve Got The Time,” according to Live Nation Entertainment.

The concert is at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at accessoshowarecenter.com. Prices are $129.50, $109.50, $89.50, $69.50 and $49.50.

Growing up near Fort Worth, Texas, Jinks cut his teeth in bars and honky-tonks, where he learned to disrupt the status quo with an industrious, do-it-yourself approach, according to online profiles.

The show will include special guest Tanner Usrey. The music of the Texas-born singer, songwriter and guitarist pairs straight shooting storytelling with country grit, rock ‘n’ roll energy and Americana eloquence, according to online profiles.
