Jazz, art event set for June 25

Jazz and art lovers can check out the second annual Evening of Jazz and Art from 5-8 p.m. June 25 at the south lawn of the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St.

The free outdoor concert features Seattle jazz guitarist Michael Powers and the Seattle jazz band Pearl Django. The evening also features a juried fine art show and a Kent Valley Artists exhibition.
