Riley Campbell, 17, of Maple Valley won the 10K at the city of Kent Christmas Rush Run presented by Multicare Health System.

Campbell, a junior at Tahoma High School, covered the course Saturday in 33 minutes, 14.3 seconds. The race drew 461 runners.

Christopher Fisher, 17, of South Prairie placed second in 33:18.4. Rounding out the top five were Jeciah Griswold, 30, of Renton, 33:28.2; Jacob Fullen, 21, of Kent, 34:39.4; and Tyler Nugent, 30, of Seattle, 35:56.1.

Michael Chinchar, 24, of Kent, won the 5K Fun Run, which had 1,894 participants. Chinchar had a time of 15:54.1. The next four finishers were Phil Rock, 33, of Enumclaw, 16:29.6; Tyler Eidsmoe, 24, of Auburn; Abebaw Asrebebe, 17, of Kent, 16:40.4; and Keefe Hanson, 20, of Lake Tapps, 17:03.2.

The course for each run started at Russell Road Park

Highlights included live holiday music and prizes and awards for the top-five finishers in each age group. Special activities and vendor booths rounded out the morning to create a festive atmosphere. Numerous runners wore holiday hats and outfits.

Participants ages 13 and under ran for free, and received a complimentary T-shirt, courtesy of MultiCare.
