Car traveling at high rate of speed in Kent collides with truck

Driver escapes with non-life-threatening injuries in Aug. 5 crash along Kent Des Moines Road

A car reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed collided with a truck just after 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5 in Kent.

The collison was along Kent Des Moines Road near the intersection with West Meeker Street and Reith Road, according to Puget Sound Fire. The agency reported it was a high-speed crash.

Paramedics transported the driver of the car with non-life-threatening injuries to a hospital, according to Puget Sound Fire.
