A fire destroyed a residence in the 24400 block of 64th Avenue South in Kent.
Eight units and 20 fire personnel responded at about 3:57 p.m. Monday, July 21 to the fire, according to an email from Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. King County Medic One and the Zone 3 Fire Cadets also responded.
Pawlak said the residence is a total loss. One resident sustained a minor injury. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in about one hour.
