Drivers will face additional full closures in Kent of the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp to South 272nd Street.

Sound Transit plans full closures while contractors complete signal work along I-5 north. The closure will begin at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 and end at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, according to Sound Transit.

Full closures also are planned for the weekend of Oct. 17-20. The off-ramp also was closed Oct. 3-6.

Drivers can follow the detour route to exit at State Route 99 and Kent Des Moines Road.

The signal work is in connection with Sound Transit’s new Star Lake light rail station opening in December along South 272nd Street, just west of I-5.

When

• Friday, Oct. 10*, at 10 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 13*, at 5 a.m.

• Friday, Oct. 17*, at 10 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 20*, at 5 a.m.

All closures will be in place around the clock.
