A 25-year-old Kent man and a 30-year-old Tacoma woman remained in critical condition after a head-on collision early Thursday morning, March 11 along Highway 18 near Kent and Auburn.

Both are critical in ICU, according to a spokesperson late Thursday morning, March 11 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The Tacoma woman was driving a 1999 Lexus ES eastbound in the westbound lanes just west of Southeast 304th Street, according to the State Patrol. The Kent man was driving a 2009 Toyota Camry westbound in the westbound lanes when the cars collided. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
