A sampling of Kent Police incidents Dec. 1 to 27:
Dec. 1
• Street robbery: 4:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery near 24400 104th Ave. SE. The victim stated they had withdrawn a large sum of cash from a bank and were walking along 104th Avenue when an unknown individual approached and demanded their bag. The victim surrendered the bag containing the cash.
Dec. 3
• Store robbery: 10:58 p.m., officers responded to East Hill Market, 10200 SE 256th St., regarding a robbery. The suspect, who had previously made a transaction, returned and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled without obtaining any money. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and arrested the individual following a brief pursuit.
• DV order violation: Officers were dispatched to the Country Glen Apartments, 27400 132nd Ave. SE, for a domestic violence order violation. After interviewing the victim, probable cause was established for a felony violation of the order. The suspect was located at an unit and taken into custody without incident.
• Stolen vehicle: Officers responded to a Flock camera alert for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was initially located near warehouses at 20017 72nd Ave. S., but was lost. Another officer later found the vehicle parked nearby. The driver was taken into custody without incident. No pursuit occurred, and no property was damaged.
• Man exposes himself: Officers responded to a report of a male exposing himself to passing traffic near South 244th Street and 64th Avenue South. The individual, known to officers, was arrested without incident and booked into jail.
Dec. 4
• DUI hit-and-run: Officers responded to a reported DUI hit-and-run collision near 104th Avenue SE and SE 272nd Street. The suspect vehicle was located at the registered address in Auburn, where it had crashed into a parked car. The driver was found unconscious inside the running vehicle. During the contact, another individual arrived and interfered with officers. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
• Teen points pistol: Officers were dispatched to 13913 SE 280th Street for a report of threats involving a weapon. A 16-year-old female was arrested for pointing a pistol at another juvenile female. The suspect was booked into King County Juvenile Detention.
Dec. 8
• Cash robbery: 5:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery near an ATM at 23630 104th Ave. SE. The victim stated multiple individuals approached while she was withdrawing money. She provided cash and left the area unharmed.
• No license plates: Officers attempted to stop a vehicle without plates. The driver fled, and a short pursuit occurred. The vehicle became disabled, and the driver was taken into custody.
Dec. 17
• Stolen rental vehicle: Officers located a stolen rental vehicle downtown. The occupants were detained. A firearm was discovered in a backpack, and officers sought a warrant for further investigation.
Dec. 18
• Apartment robbery: 1:39 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery near 23500 112th Ave. SE. The victim stated two individuals entered their apartment and took cash and jewelry before leaving the area.
Dec. 19
• 7-Eleven robbery: Officers responded to a report of a robbery at 7-Eleven, 10255 SE 240th St. The suspect entered the store, took merchandise, and left the area. The suspect was later located and taken into custody.
Dec. 23
• Shooting: 12:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence near 12500 SE 282nd Street. The incident occurred during an argument. Two individuals sustained injuries and were treated.
Dec. 24
• Vehicle theft: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft at Rock Creek Apartments. The suspect was located and taken into custody after attempting to flee on foot.
Dec. 27
• Shooting near fitness center: 8:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near a fitness center at 20600 108th Ave. SE. The incident began as a physical altercation and escalated outside the building. No victims have come forward.
