The ShoWare Center's two-millionth guest will arrive sometime during Friday prior to the Seattle Thunderbirds game.

Kent’s ShoWare Center officials have determined that the venue’s two-millionth guest will be welcomed as well as awarded at Friday’s Seattle Thunderbirds hockey game against Spokane.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m, puck drops at 7:35 p.m.

The lucky guest will receive two tickets to every event, including all Thunderbirds home hockey games, for a full calendar year, $100 Savor gift certificate to be used on concessions, private behind-the-scenes tour of the ShoWare Center, an upgrade to a free suite for an upcoming event, an amazing seven-night resort stay at a dream destination of your choice, courtesy of Travel Seattle (more details: http://bit.ly/1xuEPah), $50 gift certificate to Kent Station, relaxing massage from Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa at the Kent Station location, and complimentary passes to the Parlor Live Comedy Club.

Since the two-millionth guest will be welcomed at a T-Birds game, the winner will also be recognized on the big screen and participate in the ceremonial ‘puck drop’ to start the game.

“We are excited to be welcoming the arena’s two-millionth guest,” said ShoWare Center’s general manager Tim Higgins. “Our entire staff takes great pride in the reputation ShoWare Center has established in the region as the premier sports and entertainment venue. We look forward to the future and our next two-millionth guest.”

Since opening in 2009, the city-owned arena has hosted 222 Thunderbirds hockey games; 50 concerts including the world’s top touring talent like Florida Georgia Line, Kelly Clarkson, Barry Manilow, Toby Mac, Rise Against, Chris Tomlin and many more; 176 family shows including Harlem Globetrotters and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus; 68 high school and college graduations; more than 100 local high school basketball games, nationally televised Skate America competition and countless other community and charitable events.

Michael Hardy from Mill Creek was welcomed as the one millionth ShoWare Center guest in November 2011.
