A 25-year-old man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Monday morning, July 21 in the 4400 block of South 272nd Street in Kent.
Lamarae S. Jackson died of blunt force injury of the chest, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office July 23 report.
Jackson was the rear passenger in a vehicle that crashed at about 9 a.m., according to a King County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. He was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics transported the driver to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office. A second passenger walked away uninjured.
“This remains an active investigation so at this time this is the only information available,” according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesperson when asked July 23 for more details about the crash.
Deputies responded to the incident because it was in unincorporated King County. The street has a Kent address but is outside the city limits.
