Kent Police, as of Friday, still were looking for a 49-year-old Kent woman reported missing by relatives since Jan. 2.
Lyubov Lutsyk was last seen Jan. 2 at her East Hill residence. When Lutsyk left home, she did not take any personal items such as her purse, cell phone, or money, according to a Kent Police media release. The vehicle Lutsyk normally drove was still at her residence after her disappearance.
Lutsyk is of Ukrainian decent. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. She was dressed in a black hip-length coat with a quilted pattern, long skirt and a tan beret-style hat.
The family of Lutsyk indicated that she had been depressed lately.
“Lyubov’s family is extremely concerned about her,” said Kent Police Lt. John Pagel. “Our detective unit is actively investigating this case, talking with family members and coordinating area searches in an effort to locate her as soon as possible.”
