ShoWare schedule: Everything from cage-fighting to power rock

Rock out at ShoWare

Styx, REO Speedwagon and .38 Special, popular American rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s, play at 7 p.m. May 27 at the ShoWare Center. Tickets went on sale Monday at www.showarecenter.com or call 253-856-6999. Ticket prices are $39.50, $49.50, $65 and $85.

Martial arts fighters coming to town

Professional and amateur mixed martial arts cage fighters will compete at 7 p.m. May 2 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Mixed martial arts is a full-contact sport that allows a variety of fighting techniques. Tickets are on sale at www.showare.center.com or call 253-856-6999. Ticket prices range from $30 to $150.

The event, presented by the MMA Alliance, LLC, will feature 10 professional bouts and four amateur matches.

Professional fighters slated to appear as part of “The Uprising” include Jeff Monson, Travis Fulton, Mario Miranda, Jesse Forbes, Bristol Marunde, Miesha Tate and Molly Helsel.

Pro wrestlers to perform June 4

Professional wrestlers perform 7 p.m. June 4 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling will present “Cross the Line,” featuring wrestlers who appear on TNA’s Impact show Thursday nights on SpikeTV. Tickets are available at www.showarecenter.com or call 253-856-6999. Ticket prices are $22 to $52. For more information, go to tnawrestling.com.
