This Saturday, July 30, King County Elections will open six Vote Centers to provide in-person assistance to voters across the county. Voters who need to register to vote, get a replacement ballot, or use an assistive device are encouraged to visit Vote Centers on Saturday or Monday to avoid lines on Election Day, August 2.
Vote Centers are located in Bellevue, Federal Way, Kenmore, Kent, Renton, and Seattle and will be open the following hours:
- Saturday, July 30 from 10 am to 4 pm
- Monday, August 1 from 8:30 am to 6 pm
- Election Day, August 2 from 8:30 am to 8 pm
All registered voters may also access and print their ballot online at kingcounty.gov/elections/obmp.
Turnout for the Primary election is projected at 45 percent. As of Thursday afternoon, turnout was sitting just under 15 percent. Ballot return statistics are available online and updated regularly throughout business hours. This the best place to find current turnout numbers for this election.
Voters can return their ballot by mail, ballot drop box, or at a Vote Center location. Drop boxes close promptly at 8 pm on Election Day and mailed ballots must feature a postmark from Election Day or before to be counted as on-time. Voters are encouraged to return their ballots as early as possible, and to track their ballot until it’s counted.
