Vehicle crashes into Kent home on West Hill; driver flees scene

Nobody inside home injured in Tuesday morning, Aug. 8 incident

A driver fled the scene after a vehicle crashed Tuesday morning, Aug. 8 into a Kent home on the West Hill.

Nobody was hurt inside, but the home had to be assessed for structural stability, according to Puget Sound Fire.

Firefighters were dispatched at about 7:44 a.m. to the crash at 24005 35th Pl. S., according to Puget Sound Fire spokesperson Pat Pawlak. The house is just east of Interstate 5 and west of Military Road South.

“The driver of the vehicle did not live at the house,” Pawlak said. “The driver of the vehicle was not at the location when we arrived.”
