Renton Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with a homicide in the 3700 block of NE Fourth Street.
According to the department, the suspect, a 32-year-old man, and victim got into a physical altercation after arguing in a business around 9:30 p.m. Feb. 3. The suspect allegedly shot the victim multiple times before leaving the scene in a vehicle. The suspect then abandoned the car before fleeing on foot.
One person died from multiple gunshot wounds. King County Guardian 1 helicopter aided in the search and K9 units were unable to track the suspect.
The police department reported at 12:17 a.m. Feb. 4 that the suspect was in custody. The police said after identifying the subject early in the investigation, they established a perimeter around his residence and arrested him when he returned home.
