ELIZABETH MCCLOSKEY
Elizabeth Joan McCloskey was born in Seattle on November 24, 1915, the third child of Martin G. and Nora E. Welch. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1933 and married Lester J. McCloskey on July 5, 1937. She died on October 15, 2009 in Covington. Elizabeth is survived by her seven children: Rev. Lester J., Jr., James (Janet), John T. (Carmen), Joan (Everett) Renne, Janet (Gary) Brittain, Jeff (Kathy), Joe (Margie); 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, as well as two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be on October 21 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 327-2nd Avenue, Kent, WA.
