April 6, 1930 – June 17, 2022
H. Richard Tarasuk of Kent, Washington passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the age of 92. His closest dear friend and life companion Ann Lichty was by his side.
Richard was born on April 6, 1930. He was raised in Seattle, Washington and spent his career working for Boeing. He was a devoted husband and father and admired by friends and family. He loved music, enjoyed gardening and cooking, camping, singing in the church choir and spending time with friends and family.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Harry R. Tarasuk and Bernice (Blum) Holtz, wife Marion E. Tarasuk, and daughter Catherine Louise Tarasuk. He is survived by his children Patricia Kindig (spouse Edwin F. Kindig) and Michael Tarasuk (spouse Julie Tarasuk) grandchildren Sean Tarasuk, Robert J. Tarasuk, Danielle Tarasuk, and great grandchildren Elise Tarasuk, Addy Tarasuk and Lenny Tarasuk.
A memorial service honoring the life of Richard is planned Saturday, September 10 at 1pm, Kent United Methodist Church, 11010 South East 248th St, Kent WA 98030.
