Kent Reporter’s female athlete of the week of Oct. 13 is Kent-Meridian High School junior, Kaitlyn Gaspar, volleyball.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: IB History

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Mulan”, “Mulan 2”, “Moana”, “The Parent Trap”

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: My mom and dad.

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Sprite and Hot Fries Chips.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual

A: Put on my headphones, listen to my pregame playlist and write down notes of everything that I want to accomplish for that game. Also pray as a team.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: Fall in love by Sammy Johnson

From the sidelines: She’s our libero, leads KM in digs with 25, aces with 13 and passing percentage. She is a great athlete and leader on the team.
