John and June Huffman, both 88, made a promise on Sept. 6, 1947. To love and to cherish each other – for life.
What’s their secret to 70 years of marriage? John always listens with a loving ear and June always encourages him with a word of encouragement and love.
On Valentine’s Day, they enjoyed a couples dinner at Aegis of Kent hosted by the facility’s enrichment team. Flowers, food and a harpist were there to entertain them for a special dinner for two.
