Healthy Kids Day free event coming up April 20 at Kent YMCA

Activities to include face painting, bounce house and dodgeball

The Kent YMCA will participate in the Greater YMCA of Seattle’s annual Healthy Kids Day, which is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Featured activities at the free event will include face painting, appearances by representatives of the Seattle Seawolves rugby team, Smoothie bike, bounce house and dodgeball. The Kent YMCA is at 10828 SE 248th St. The event will be held across 12 YMCA locations in the Seattle area.

”Children must remain engaged in physical and mental activities throughout the summer months,” said Loria Yeadon, CEO of YMCA Greater Seattle. “At the YMCA, we’re passionate about providing families with the resources to develop and maintain healthy habits all year. Healthy Kids Day is a signature free event encouraging families to explore and participate in many fun, healthful Y activities, fostering community connection and wellness.”
