See the work by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help strengthen a natural abuttment at the flood-control dam, to help hold back flood waters this winter in the Green River Valley. In spite of the temporary fix, the corps still will not be able to use the dam’s reservoir to full capacity, which could mean more flooding for valley, including Kent, Auburn and Renton.
