Biography:
2008-09: In Stefan’s first season with the Thunderbirds he played in 70 games scoring one goal and registering 16 assists for 17 points. Stefan ended the regular season with a plus/minus rating plus-1 and spent 80 minutes in the penalty box. He scored his first WHL goal on March 15 against the Everett Silvertips in a 10-0 victory. During the playoffs Stefan played in 5 games but did not record any points and spent two minutes in the penalty box.
2007-08: Stefan appeared in 33 games with the Vasteras Jr. team in the Swedish Junior Elite league. He had two goals and six assists with 61 penalty minutes. Stefan was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the fifth round, 143rd overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
