With the No. 22 jersey of their late friend and teammate Dorian Tursic in a place of honor, the Kent-Meridian boys basketball team came out playing hard Jan. 5 away against Tahoma, ultimately losing 71-68 in double overtime.
It was the first game the K-M boys played since Tursic, 18, died in a car crash Jan. 3 in Kent. The game was an emotional moment for the team as well as the fans.
