MIKELL EVERETTE, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Football.

Accomplishment: Everette rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, leading the Conquerors past Puyallup 35-21 in a nonleague game.

Favorite class: English.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Wiz Khalifa (lobster and shrimp tails), Lauren London (funfetti cake), Michael Vick (ribs), (coach) Melvin Wells (seafood).

Greatest athletic moment: Winning state in basketball last year.

Favorite book: “Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain.

What’s on your iPod?: “Hard in the Paint.”

KIANA KRAFT, Kentwood

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Soccer.

Accomplishment: Kraft, a two-time all-leaguer, deposited a pair of goals in Kentwood’s 3-0 win over Mount Rainier on Sept. 21.

Favorite class: AP Calculus

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my awesome parents. We would eat my favorite meal (salmon, mashed potatoes, and green beans).

Greatest athletic moment: Winning back-to-back state (soccer) championships with my club team, Emerald City.

What’s on your iPod?: Nicki Minaj.

Most recent book read: “A Million Little Pieces” by James Frey.

B.J. PHILLIPS, Kent-Meridian

Grade: Junior.

Sport: Football.

Accomplishment: Phillips rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown on seven carries, helping the Royals knock off Mount Rainier 64-0 on Sept. 24. Favorite class: History of the Americas.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Malcolm X. I would serve his favorite foods (chicken, kale and rice with milk).

Greatest athletic moment: My first starting rep on varsity.

Most recent book read/author: “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

What’s on your iPod?: “Mojo So Dope” by Kid Kudi.

VICTORIA LABRIE, Kentridge

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Volleyball.

Accomplishment: LaBrie racked up 17 kills in leading the Chargers past Auburn on Sept. 22 25-18, 19-25, 25-18, 27-25.

Favorite class: Calculus AB.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite Jesus to dinner and we would have my mom’s homemade macaroni and cheese.

Greatest athletic moment: Going to nationals with my club team last year.

Most recent book read/author: I am currently reading Misty May-Treanor’s biography. Favorite movie: Get Smart.

KATIE CLAYTON, Kent Mountain View

Grade: Senior.

Sport: Soccer.

Accomplishment: Clayton, a Kent Mount View student who plays soccer at Kentridge, assisted on four goals and scored one of her own, leading the Chargers past Mount Rainier Sept. 23, 6-2.
