Forward Air signs $1.2 million lease for Kent West Corporate Park site

DEXUS Property Group announced the lease renewal to Forward Air Corporation for a 47,025 square-foot building in the Kent West Corporate Park industrial property. The five year lease began May 1 and is valued at more than $1.2 million.
Forward Air is an air cargo and surface transportation company based in Greeneville, Tenn.
The Kent West Corporate Park site is located at 6531 S. 219th St., Kent.
According to a release on the transaction, the building provides a distribution facility, location and services Forward Air’s needs as a leading provider of transportation and logistics services to the North American air cargo industry.
The facility offers Forward Air close proximity to the Sea-Tac Airport, access to Interstate 5 and state Route 167. The site offers dock-high and grade level truck loading doors and a truck staging area.
