Brittany McPhee scored 23 and Jordan McPhee added 17 to help the Mount Rainier girls basketball team defeat Kentwood 58-49 Tuesday night in Covington.
The win improved Mount Rainier to 18-0 overall and 14-0 in the SPSL 4A. Jenny Johnson led Kentwood (12-4, 9-3 league) with 16 points.
