Versatile triathletes meet at Lake Meridian | SLIDESHOW

Swimmers, cyclists and runners converged on Lake Meridian last Sunday for the inaugural Lake Meridian June Triathlon.

The triathlon had three categories of Olympic, Sprint and Super sprint, which differed in swim distances.

A total of 188 athletes swam a course in Lake Meridian, followed by a 15-mile bike ride and a three-mile run.

Nick Johnson took first place for the men’s division with a 1:09:56 finish, while Allison Snow took first in the women’s division with a time of 1:26:08.
