Sound Transit will have an open house on Thursday, July 31 about extending light rail to Kent/Des Moines by 2023 with plans to reach Federal Way when more funding is secured.

Learn about State Route 99 (Pacific Highway South) and Interstate 5 route alternatives and potential station locations being studied in the draft environmental impact statement.

The open house runs from 3-6 p.m. at the Federal Way Transit Center Platform, 31621 23rd Ave. S.
