Kent home prices were up 4 percent in October compared to the same month in 2013 with a median price of $260,000.

Sales increased 6.6 percent with 145 homes sold, according to a report by Redfin, a Seattle-based real estate company. The numbers only reflect transactions on the Multiple Listing Service, a local or regional database of available real estate for sale by member brokers.

The numbers in October compared to October 2013:

• Home prices were up 4 percent

• The median home price was $260,000

• $276,000 for single-family homes; $140,700 for condos and town homes

• Sales were up 6.6 percent with 145 homes sold

• Homes spent a median 24 days on the market
