Kent-based Seattle Mist takes on Los Angeles Temptation in women’s football

The Seattle Mist women’s team opens its Legends Football League season at 8 p.m. Friday, May 29, against the Los Angeles Temptation at the ShoWare Center in Kent.

The league, formerly the Lingerie Football League, features seven-on-seven tackle football. Tickets are on sale at the ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.

Ticket prices are $55 for field level, $35 for lower sideline, $30 for the party zone, $25 for end zone and $10 for upper end zone. The MISTFits Party Zone is general admission, standing room only in north end zone and includes a private beer garden.

Key players for the Mist include quarterback KK Matheny, receiver Bryn Renda, linebacker Danika Brace, receiver Jessica Hopkins and running back Stevi Schnoor.
