The seventh annual Kent International Festival last Saturday gave attendees the chance to experience cultures from around the world without leaving the ShoWare Center.

The festival featured music, singing, dancing and other cultural presentation on three stages. Local restaurants sold a variety of international dishes.

Booths lined the ShoWare Center’s concourse providing participants hands-on activities, such as having their name written in Japanese characters or having a dastar, a turban worn by Sikhs, tied on their head.

Local students artwork was also on display.
