T-Birds’ Bow signs with AHL’s Texas Stars

Seattle Thunderbirds goalie Landon Bow has signed with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League for the upcoming 2016-17 season.

Texas is the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars.

In 23 regular season games with the T-Birds last season, Bow was 16-6-0-0 with a .938 save percentage, 1.76 goals against average and five shutouts. In 18 playoff games, Bow was 13-5 with a .927 save percentage and 1.96 goals against average and two shutouts.

The T-Birds acquired Bow from the Swift Current Broncos on Jan. 5 for Jamal Watson, Taz Burman and a conditional second round Bantam pick in 2017.

In four seasons with the Broncos and T-Birds, Bow played 160 games and had a 74-56-8-5 record with 15 shutouts. He has a career goals against average of 2.91 and career save percentage of .912.
