Kent closes 148th Avenue SE due to large pothole

The city of Kent temporarily closed 148th Avenue Southeast to traffic between Southeast 256th Street and Southeast 249th Street on Thursday morning due to a large pothole that developed in the middle of the roadway after heavy rainfall

The roadway will remain closed over the weekend and until pavement conditions allow repair, according to city public works staff.

Temporary detour signs are posted.
