Rotary Club honors Kent Phoenix Academy students

The Rotary Club of Kent (noon) honored Kent Phoenix Academy’s Esmeralda Arceo and Tyrone Tucker as its Student of the Month.
Arceo graduates this week at the Kent School District’s mid-year graduation ceremony, finishing high school in 3½ years. She plans to enroll at Green River College in the fall and eventually transfer to the University of Washington, where she wants to major in film production and earn her master’s and Ph.D. in psychology.
Tucker plans to attend Green River College in the fall then transfer to UW Tacoma. He hopes to become a counselor for young people.
